CAAMP

CAAMP

Words & Photos: Kenneth Coles

CAAMP has made Portland a regular stop on their tours. They feel like a band that was made for places like this. Folk rock that appeals to both young and older crowds. You’ll see college age hipsters mixed with aged Maine fishermen in bright yellow waiters amongst the attendants. Sun or torrential downpour, Portland shows up this band.

It appears the guys are comfortable here as well. Entering the stage casually with lit cigarettes in their mouths and playing with such a relaxed manner you’d think they were in their studio.

“What a cool town. I know I say that every time but everytime we come here I feel like I leave with 10 articles of new clothing and new friends.” - Shared singer Taylor Meier.
