Wilderado is that band you hear for the first time on a random playlist and go “Wow, who is this?!”. Then proceed to binge their music non stop for weeks and when one of their songs inevitably makes it in to an adventure video on Youtube or Instagram and they blow up you’ll let everyone know you’d been listening to them wayyyy before they were cool. 

It didn’t take long to realize I was not alone in my fandom. Portland House of Music was packed for the five piece indie rock group. 

They are also one of those who’s sound translates remarkably well from record to live performance. When they played Morning Light I remember thinking, “This sounds just like it does in my earbuds. They are all great musicians and are clearly in sync when playing. 

It’s always a pleasure to see a band you like perform live, but it’s so satisfying to hear them play your favorite songs and make you feel the same way you do when you’re walking down the street lost in your own little world and it sounds just like does during those special moments.
